This week we finish our theme Animal Kingdom talking about the insects and their characteristics.
The children will make different arts related with insects and Easter. I will be reading to the children the story of the Easter Bunny and the story entitled:” The very hungry caterpillar”

Upcoming Events:

*We will have our Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday, March 27 at 10:40 am. Please bring eggs to share, stickers and candy but remember to avoid allergens such as nuts and candy that could present a choking hazard. The sign- in sheet for items to donate will be near to the classroom door.
*March28-29 Easter Break- SFF! will be closed
*April 8-12, Art Fair, we will have a exhibition of your child art.
*April 19, we will celebrate our International Party!!!! This week I will give you a letter with more information about this great activity.

The children will make different arts and they will see a video about these animals.

The children will identify the characteristics of some of these animals, food and habitat. Also they will make different arts.

Upcoming events:
*March 18- St Patrick's Celebration: have your child wearing green clothing or accessories. We will make arts and different games related with the color green.
*March 19- Cap and gown pictures, photographer will be here at 8:30am, please have your child wearing Sff! uniform, children will be wearing caps and gowns donated to the school last year.
*March 21-Pet's day: we are inviting our children's pets to spend a day with us.
We would love our children sharing with us stories and instructions how they take care of their pets at home. A great opportunity to work on many skills.
Please make sure to advise if your child has any pet allergies.
*March 27- Easter Celebration. We are planning a great egg hunting day, please help by bringing filled eggs to share with the class. Remember to avoid any nut products or candy that represents a chocking hazard.
*March 28-29th - Easter Break, the school is closed.

This week we begin a new theme: “The Animal Kingdom” / “El Reino Animal” and we will start by talking about domestic animals.
The children will make crafts and read books.

I am very happy to share that most of our Ositos are already reading in Spanish!!!  Some read sentences, others words or syllables. I am so proud of all of you! Great Job my OSITOS!!!
