Week of November 29th - December 3rd!

Hola Parents:
This week we start a new theme  "I am going on a trip" ("Me voy de viaje").
We will also talk about the clothes and it would be great if you may bring pictures from places you have traveled to share with the kids to use as a reference of what people wear according to the weather. Your pictures will be returned by the end of the week.
This week we will learn how the letter "Ll"  and  "Mm" sound.
Words we will be learning this month:

El equipaje-the luggage
Los paises-the countries
La navidad-Christmas

Week of November 8th - 12th

Hola Parents,
First of all we would like to thank you for your constant support through
this painful moment our family is going through. We really appreciate all
your thoughts and prayers.

Update for Ositos Class:
This week we will work on recognizing left from right.
We will continue with our theme "This is me", describing ourselves, what
we look like, what we like and dislike, etc.
We will be working on a special art project for Thanksgiving!!!
Also, we will be practicing hard on our Thanksgiving presentation, we are
super excited about it. We are representing a story about the Pilgrims and
the American Indians a letter was sent last week with all the details,
please make sure you have it.
Also we have been working on books for our library, don't forget to read
them.
Our Picture Day is on Wednesday!!! Our class will be taking their pictures
starting at 10:40 a.m.
We will begin around 9:00 a.m with children that do not attend this day.
Children come in wearing their clothes for the picture (which can be
anything you want- does not have to be uniform). Please do bring a change
of clothes to change them after the picture is taken.

Thank you for your support

Week of November 1st. - November 5th.

 Hi Parents,
What a wonderful time we had last week. Thanks to you all for your cooperation and participation.
This week we are working with words that start with “m”, “p” and “s” so don’t forget that our children are allowed to bring something for show and tell which name in Spanish starts with those letters.
Our subject for this month is the parts of our body, the words to review are:
Las pestañas = the eyelashes
El talón = the heel
Los párpados = the eyelids
Las cejas – the eyebrows
El corazón = the heart
Los pulmones – the lungs
Los intestinos = the intestines
El estómago – the stomach
El cerebro – the brain
El pavo = the turkey
Ensayar = rehearse
Our rehearsals for the Thanksgiving show already started. We are so excited! You will receive more detailed information on how they need to be dressed, etc in a note that we will leave in your child’s cubbies. Details about the party will be shown in the November News.

Have a great weekend!
