Theme of the /Week: “Sff! Olympic Games”

 

Hola Ositos parents:

Welcome to the last week of our Summer Camp 2015!
This week we will have our Sff! Olympic Games.
Our objectives for this week are:

·         Getting to know what the Olympic Games are
·         Introduce the kids to sports and the values they bring: solidarity, respect, friendship, fair play, etc.
·         Getting to know the rules and regulations of each sport and in learning those, learning to control frustrations.
·         Encourage favorable healthy habits through practicing sports.
·         Experience an Olympic event (opening ceremony, passing of the torch, games)
·         Getting to know and practice some of the sports, both individual and group.

Also, this Thursday the 13th, we will have our annual trike-a-thon. (Remember bring your child's bicycle, tricycle and helmet.)
This will be an extraordinary week where we'll reaffirm concepts of teamwork, the importance of sports, and friendship.
At home, you could motive your child by talking about the Olympic Games, showing them videos, or telling them stories about your experiences related to the Olympic Games.
We would also like to ask you for empty and clean soda cans. We will be using them to demonstrate the importance of recycling

Splash days
Next week we will only have Splash day on Wednesday. Friday we will celebrate Sff! Olympic Games.
