                         Theme of the Week: ”We go Camping”                                             

 

Hola Ositos parents:

Welcome to the second week of summer camp 2015!

This week we will enjoy many activities and fun experiences, filled with creativity and imagination.  We will do the following during this action packed week: play outside while pretending to be explorers, sing songs and play music, have our first Zumba class on Thursday, play soccer on Wednesday, read stories, and Chef Pepín will visit! We are happy to have your children join us this summer.

For some of the crafts we will be doing, we will need your collaboration with recycled paper and shoeboxes.  On Monday, the 22^nd, please send your child with a bottle of water (or a canteen) and binoculars for a special activity. On Friday, bring your sleeping bag because we will pretend to go camping.

Also, as a special request, if any parent would like to bring a tent on Friday so we can enjoy more of this activity, we would appreciate it!  If you have one and are planning to bring it, please let us know. Thank you in advance.

 

We are grateful for your continuous support in all of our summer camp activities, to motivate our children to suggest this week at home, you can read stories about expeditions, friendship, and camping.
