Week of  April 20th – 24th
Theme of the Month/Week (Tema del Mes/Semana): “Gente y música Alrededor del Mundo” / "People and Music Around the World"
Greeting to Ositos parents:
I would like to express my appreciation to all of you for all the support and attendance at the International Party at Sff! It was a successful event, and we feel honored that all of the children demonstrated enthusiasm and empathy towards our cultures.
This week we will continue working on “People and Music around the World”. We will be learning about some traditions, places, and music from Europe.  As we know Music develop listening skills and fosters math and reading skills through repetitive patterns in songs or dances. My goal for this week for the children to learn about European culture, including: their songs, customs, and traditions.
Objectives we will be working are as follows:
Language:
      Answer: what, how, who, when, to whom.
      Uses the plural form.

Cognitive:
      Participates in small experiments in the classroom.
      Classify in order of shape, colors, and size.

Psychomotor
      Cut around curves
      Grasp the pencil correctly.

Socio-emotional:
      Follows daily routines of the school
      Shows thoughts, feelings of his/her interest

Star words of the week:

     Corrida de toros / bullfight
     Chalet / Villa
     Carnaval / Carnival
 
Homework of the week:
Draw pictures of different people around the world.
