 Hola Ositos parents. We will have an interesting month. We will talk about our country, the United States of America. We will cover things such as its states, geographical location, patriotic emblems, its capital, culture, traditions, and the state in which we live. Our goal this week is for the kids to be able to recognize the city, state, and country as well as the culture and traditions of our country.

 Objectives we will be working are as follows: 

Language: 
*We play with flash cards concerning the subject.
*We identify my country.

Cognitive: 

 *Dramatize with cultures and traditions”.
*Recognize and write the numbers 1 to 10. 
*Identify different figures. 

 Psychomotor: 

*Trace the letter Hh.
*Trace your name.

 Socio-emotional:  

*Enjoy song, poem and riddles

Theme of the Week: The Arts / Las Artes

 

Hello Ositos Parents,

This week is our Art Fair week and I feel that almost every child in the world loves art!  In our class, the children have done amazing work using their inventive ideas.   Creativity begins during infancy, and when children grow, their imagination grows along with that creativity. They express their thoughts and emotions through their design and we are there to support them.  This week we will experiment with Primary colors, turning them into secondary colors.  We will also read amazing books related to Art and show the children how Artist’s in the world have inspired us through their Art.
Also, this week we will continue working with Math by recognizing numbers, counting, playing Bingo, and other activities related to the topic.  I would like to thank all of you for all your support working with them at home.

·         Learning new vocabulary.

·         Continue working with Geometric figures.

Our goal this week is for our ositos to continue having fun while learning about the plants, we will also be focusing on their writing, reading and recognizing the number 1-10.

Theme of the Week: Conociendo las plantas / Knowing plants / Types of Plants and Taking Care of them.

Greetings to Ositos’ Parents: 

As you know, we have been working hard with the Theme “Knowing Plants”. 

This week we will studying the variety of plants that our planet has to offer and how to take care of them. 

This will include demonstrating to children the benefits of plants that we enjoy daily through some fun activities. 

Also we will be using real vegetables and fruits as a demonstration for the kids and we have some fun learning about how important plants are to keep our planet green.

We will also have a brief talk about the importance to take care of our planet and the benefits such as oxygen, clean water, food and our beautiful trees. 

 

Objectives we will be working on are as follows: 

Language: 

·         Poster about trees.
·         Poster of pictures with different types of fruits and vegetable.
·         Flash cards.

 Cognitive: 

·         Learning new vocabulary.
·         Reviewing numbers and counting from 1 to 10 and backward 10 to 1. 
·         Identify shapes, sizes, and textures.
