Theme of the Week: “Lugares de mi comunidad” /”Places of my city”

Hola Ositos Parents,

From a very young is important to instill knowledge of the environment in which we live, Server community as well as local public and private in my city.

The children will learn more about each of the functions and features of these servers, encouraging respect and admiration for their work in each of its areas.

Leaving or before you get home, they could show their children where they are located nearby in my community.

The value will be working: Solidarity with others.

Note: This week you will receive your child's report card. If you have any questions or concerns, you can set up an appointment with your child's teacher; a signup sheet is available by the door, other times and dates may be available upon request.

Always remember that our best interest is your child's well-being.

After reviewing your child’s report card please sign it up and RETURN it to your teacher as soon as you can. Thank you.

Homework of the week: 

Make sure to take home your child’s notebook this Friday to reinforce the activities that we are working in class. Please bring them back on Monday.

The student of the week is Alaina Carion, we can’t wait to know everything about you (favorite toy, book, food, places to go, etc.).

Friendly Reminders:

·         The weather is getting cold, please bring appropriate clothes for your child (long sleeve shirt, long pants, and jacket) and a cozy blanket for nap time.

·          Make sure your child washes his/her hands when arriving and leaving the classroom.

·         Label all your child’s belongings.

·         Please sign up “The Student of the Week.” Our sign-up sheet is outside the classroom.

·         Our Ositos enjoy story time with their family members so much. Please don’t forget to sign up for this activity. We have story time every day at 11.45 am.

Upcoming Activities:

·         November 9^th: Report card will be sent.

·         November 20^th: Parents Night Out. From 6 – 9 pm. More information to come.

·         November 23rd: Parent-Teacher conferences to talk about your child’s report cards, their achievements, and needs, if any.  The signup sheet will be posted outside of the class.  Please take a moment to sign-up and choose your best time.

·         November 25^th: Thanksgiving Celebration. We will be sharing a special morning snack in our classroom. Parents are encouraged to bring a dish to share during our morning snack at 10:00 am. Signup sheet will be posted on Monday, the 16^th.

·         November 26^th – 27^th: School closed.

·         December 16^th : Holiday Party

Holiday Party

We can hardly believe it’s time for us to start planning and organizing for our Holiday Party. Our Ositos will dance the song “Dulce Navidad”. We are very excited for this event, since it’s one of the biggest events we have during our school year. We count with your support! For that reason, you will receive a special letter from us with detail information of this event and what your child’s needs to wear for his/her presentation. We have time to prepare a wonderful show!
