Week of January 3rd - 7th

Hola Parents:
We wish you a great 2011 full of joy and success!

We start the New Year learning about the "The Vegetable Kingdom"

This month we are learning about the plants, the fruits and the vegetables, how plants grow and what  they need to do so.

Our children will do a seeder and will work in their notebooks the new words they are learning about this new theme.

The words for this month are:

• La Planta-The Plant
• El arbol- The tree
• La semilla- the seed
• El tallo- the stem
• La raiz - The roots
• Las Hojas- The Leaves
• El Fruto- The Fruit
• Los Vegetales-The Vegetables
• Las Frutas- The Fruits
• La fotosintesis - Photosynthesis

Next week is our "Art Fair" your children's artwork will be displayed in the hallways for you to see!!!:)))) Don’t miss it!
